At the recently held BMW Joyfest in Goa, BMW displayed the M5 which was launched earlier this year at the 2018 Auto Expo. The sixth generation BMW M5 is priced at Rs 1.44 Crores (Ex showroom).

Visual differences that announce the M5 are Sculpted M Bonnet, aggressive front bumpers with large air intakes. Sporty front grille with M5 badge, aerodynamically shaped M wing mirrors, carbon fibre roof, M Specific rear diffuser, four chrome M tailpipes and M rear spoiler and 19-inch double spoke alloy wheels
Inside the BMW M5, is practical yet sporty, the full electric leather seats get M badges on the headrests which are illuminated, M leather Steering wheel with paddle shifters, M1 and M2 buttons, seatbelts with M colour stitching and new gear selector with drivelogic switch
BMW has packed the M5 with features such as Digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Gesture control, M specific Heads up display,4 zone climate control, Adaptive LED headlamps, latest sixth generation I-Drive Cornering brake control and Dynamic dampers.
The heart of matter is powered by a 4.4 litre M Twin Power Turbo V8 petrol which sheds out 600hp and 750nm of torque. Transferring all the power to the wheels is the all-new 8 speed torque converter gearbox and 5 driving modes to choose from. Braking duties are handled by Carbon Ceramic brakes finished off in Matt Gold. The sixth generation BMW M5 does a 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. It also comes with M XDrive as well an option to switch to Rear wheel drive.
