As the days to the media unveil on the 9th of October draw closer, Spy shots revealing the new Santro have made it to the Internet thus partially showing the appearance of the car. The pics appear to have been taken at a Hyundai workshop with the car dressed in a shade of bright Orange.
Though the camaflouge has not fully exposed the car, it does reveal some interesting details in relation to the design of the car. The nose of the car looks exciting with the swept back headlamps and a smooth bonnet, while lower down the bumper has an interesting shape, while the grille is wide and sports chrome surround along with black plastic strips that also houses the fog lamps. The rear gets a wide tailgate that looks neat, while the taillamps are a reminiscent of the Grand i10.
Considering that the up-coming Hyundai hatchback code-named AH2 is aiming to revive the Santro nameplate, the new hatchback will have a tallboy design in profile which means good space on the inside along with good headroom.
