Hyundai has launched an updated Creta priced at Rs Lakhs for the petrol and Rs Lakhs for the diesel (ex showroom prices)The new Creta comes in six variants in the petrol version and four in diesel.
The petrol trims include E, E+, S, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Executive. The diesel trims on the other hand are S, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Executive.
On the features front, the 2019 Creta is now offered with speed alert system, seat belt reminders for front seats and rear parking sensors as standard. The newly introduced SX (O) Executive variant receives ventilated front seats and LED taillamps. It also gets an Eco-coated air conditioner as standard on all the variants.
Under the hood, the 2019 Creta is powered by the same engines as the earlier car that includes the 1.6 litre petrol and diesel along with 1.4 litre diesels. The 1.6 litre petrol produces 125 bhp and 151 Nm of torque, the 1.6 litre diesel 126 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. The smaller 1.4 litre diesel can be had on the E+ and S variants only and puts out 89 bhp and 220 Nm of torque.
Transmission options include 6-speed manual and automatic for both petrol and diesel engines; however the 1.4 litre diesel mill misses out on the automatic transmission and gets a 6-speed manual only.
