Skoda Auto has launched the new Superb facelift in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 29.99 lakhs (ex showroom prices). Buyers can now choose between two trims – Sportline and Lauren & Klement.
The 2020 Skoda Superb facelift receives a few cosmetic changes on the outside to keep it fresh. It gets redesigned LED headlights along with a minor refresh for the butterfly grille and a new bumper. At the back there are new taillamps connected by a chrome bar. Also part of the package are new 17-inch alloy wheels that come finished in special treatment depending on the trim choosen.

The interior however is the same as outgoing car and the cabin continues with its top notch quality and materials. The Lauren & Klement version gets a black and beige dual tone colour scheme, while the Sportline comes finished in all black colour scheme. New in terms of equipment is a new 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and wireless phone charger.
Under the hood the Superb facelift now comes powered by a 2.0 litre TSI petrol engine; it makes about 190hp and 320Nm of torque and comes mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
Skoda has also introduced new exterior paint schemes for the Superb facelift, 5 in the Lauren & Klement version which are Moon white, Lava blue, Business grey, Magnetic brown and Magic black. The Sportline trim sadly gets only 3 colour options – Race blue, Steel grey and Moon white.
