Bavaria Motors, the dealership for BMW cars in Goa delivered 12 luxury cars to Hotel Leela Goa. The 12 car fleet delivered compromises of 10 X5 SUVS and two 7-Series luxury sedans that were procured under the BMW Corporate and hotel fleet program
Mrs Nidhi Kaishta Gera General Manger BMW Corporate and Direct sales BMW group India on the occasion of the massive delivery said ”that BMW’s association with the Leela group started about a decade ago, our bond has only grown stronger since BMW and the Leela group are connoisseurs in the world of luxury”.
The General Manager Mr Shidhar Nair said ”our association with BMW stretches for more than 10 years and both brands complement each other with the focus on quality and the association. We are happy to renew the experience by inducting the new fleet into the hotel”.
The cars delivered are both diesel versions. The X5 XDrive 30D is powered by a 3.0 litre six cylinder diesel engine which puts out 258PS and 560NM of Torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 6.9 seconds.
The 730LD on the other hand draws its power from 3.0-litre turbo diesel motor churning out 26.1bhp and 63.22Nm of torque. The motor transmits its power to the wheels from an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
