BMW is gearing up to have a show stopping 2019; the manufacturer has officially listed the X7 full size SUV on its website hinting that the launch is to happen soon. The BMW X7 will be the flagship model that will sit above the X6 and act as a flagship to the SUV range.
Design and styling, the BMW X7 is a butch looking SUV that gets modern design in typical BMW fashion. The X7 receives a massive, we say massive front grille dominates the face to what is the largest kidney grille seen on a BMW until now. The X7 rides on 22 inch light alloy wheels and gets a split tailgate at the rear.
Considering the X7 is a luxury SUV, BMW will offer the X7 in top notch materials with great attention to detail. Buyers will be able to choose from 6 or 7 seating options and will be pleased at the amount of space on the inside. The cabin should come with two 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a Pananormic sunroof as well.
Powering the flagship model at launch will be a single 3.0 litre diesel variant good enough to produce 406 PS and 760 Nm of torque. Transmission options will range from an eight speed automatic transmission capable of achieving 0-100kmph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 250kmph.
BMW hasn’t revealed the launch date just as yet, but when it does come to India in a few weeks from now, expect it to kick up quite a storm with its formidable rivals the Mercedes Benz GLS, and Range Rover.
