Amazed by the success of the Nexa range of premium showrooms introduced two years ago, India’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki went on to introduce the new Arena chain of showrooms across the country.
A year since the concept was introduced, and Goa’s first Arena showroom has finally arrived in Fatorda. Currently the existing Maruti Suzuki showroom of Chowgule Industries Fatorda is being renovated and upgraded to meet Arena standards.
The Arena chain of dealerships will spawn the bright blue and bruised allumium look on the outside, while on the inside it will have warm colours, light colours and wooden tables along with large touchscreen kiosks for viewing 360 degree view of the car and access to the customizer.
At the time of launching the Arena chain of showrooms, Mr R.S Kalsi Executive Officer (Sales and Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India had said that initially 80 showrooms will be upgraded at metro cities; while the rest of the country’s total 2050 showrooms will be upgraded to Arena in the next 5 years. It is great to see out of the 2050 showrooms Goa will also be having atleast one flagship dealership soon.
Maruti Suzuki’s current range of cars to be sold under Arena umbrella includes the Alto800, Alto K10, EECO, Waganor, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, while the Ertiga still continues to be sold in Arena, the next generation that’s set to debut in October will be moving to the more premium Nexa range of showrooms.
