Hero MotoCorp has launched the Destini 125 in Goa at Rs 56,250 (ex showroom Goa). The Hero Destini 125 can be bought in two variants Lx and Vx and is the first scooter in the Indian market to feature the fuel saving start stop system known as i3S by Hero talk.
Initially launched in October, Hero has finally commenced national retail sales of the Destini 125 across the country. Simontenously the bike was launched in Goa by Hero dealerships as well.
The Hero Destini 125 sports premium styling that sets it apart from the Duet, which it is based on. The scooter gets a metal body with splash of chrome for the front apron and side body. It also gets a body coloured mirrors, a dual tone seat cover and signature taillamp with blinkers.
In terms of features it gets external fuel opener with remote key opener, mobile charging port, boot light digital analogue speedometer along with side stand and service due indicator.
Powering the Destini is a brand new 125cc Energy boost engine that produces 8.7 bhp at 6750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm and comes mated to an automatic transmission. The powertrain offers 17% higher torque and 9% higher power than the existing 110cc scooter.
The bike rides on 10-inch cast wheels wrapped in 90/100 section tyres at the front and rear. Suspension duties are carried out by the telescopic front and single coil spring hydraulic type rear units. Braking on the other hand is managed by optional front disc along with integrated braking at the rear.
Hero offers the Destini 125 in four premium colours namely – Noble Red*, Chestnut Bronze, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White.
