Hero MotoCorp launches XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T

At a time when consumer trends are evolving with frequent regularity, Hero MotoCorp has gone ahead and launched the XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T in the market.

Prices for the motorcycles include Rs 150,000, for the XPulse 200 and Rs 94,000 for the XPulse 200T (all prices ex showroom  Delhi). The Company has also announced that it will soon commence customer bookings of new X range of motorcycles at Hero MotoCorp dealerships across the country.

As it goes with the name, the XPulse is an adventure based on-road and off-road bike that is targeted at the young and thrill seeking enthusiasts, while the XPulse 200T is a more of a road focused adventure tourer. Though both the XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T share the same frame from the Xtreme 200R, they get a lot of visual differences to set them apart.

The XPulse 200 rides on 21-spoke wheels at the front and 18-inch at the rear with dual purpose tyres. It also gets higher mounted seat, knuckle guard, mudguard and exhaust. Other differences present on the XPulse 200 include 220mm ground clearance and

The XPulse 200T on the other hand rides uses the same dual purpose tyres, however gets 17-inch rims at the front and rear. Being a road focused derivative, the XPulse 200T gets a more conventionally placed exhaust and mudguard along with a lowered seat height of 795mm for easy manoeuvrability.

Bits the two motorbikes share in common include full LED headlamps and taillamps, bluetooth enabled instrument cluster and an underseat charger. On the mechanical front, the XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T use the same 200cc engine delivering 18.4 PS and 17.1 Nm of torque along with a 5–speed constant mesh gearbox. However the XPulse 200 can be had either in carburettor or fuel injection variants.

The Suspension on both bikes are made up of 37mm gas telescopic forks upfront, while the rear uses a 10-step pre-load adjustable unit on the XPulse, while the XPulse 200T makes use of a 7-step pre-load adjustable unit. Braking duties is taken care of by 276mm disc at front and 220mm disc at the rear along with single channel ABS.

The Hero XPulse and XPulse 200T also come in three exciting colours, including Matte Green, Pearl Fadeless White and Matte Axis Grey, while the Carburettor variant comes in two colours – Sports Red and Black. On the flipside the XPulse 200T comes in four exciting colours, including Candy Blazing Red, Black, Matte Shield Gold and Matte Axis Grey.
