Since its launch at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the Navi has won many hearts not just from India but from International markets too. However few years down the line, Honda has launched an updated Navi in India priced at Rs 44,775 (ex showroom)
The new Navi gets minor cosmetic changes to the design along with updated features. The biggest addition to the 2018 Navi is the stylish fuel gauge which will boost long distance riding Convience by a huge margin. Honda has also given it a metal muffler protector; body coloured grab rail, headlight cover, rear view mirrors and sporty red coloured cushion spring.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Yadvinder Singh Gupta – Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing Honda motorcycle and scooter India Pvt Ltd said ‘’In the diverse Indian two wheeler market, Navi stands out firmly with its unique fun proposition. Along with the Convience value addition like stylish fuel gauge and muffler protector, new vibrant colours offer an extra zing for those who have an appetite for uniqueness. We will continue to surprise our customers and add more fun for the riders’’.
Powering the scooter is a 109cc engine which makes 8PS at 7,000rpm and delivers a peak torque of 8.96Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine is mated to a V-matic transmission and has a top speed of 83 kmph. The Navi also gets tubeless tyres and upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic monoshock at the rear.
Enhancing the fun looks of the Navi are two new colour options Ladakh brown and Rander green along with 6 standard colour options which include Patriot red, Shasta white, Sparky orange and black. Honda also offers the Navi with a host of customisation options that can be added on to make every Navi exclusive to its customer.
