Honda has released a teaser of what is suspected to be the next generation Jazz hatchback. The Jazz also known as the Fit in some markets is set for a world debut on the 23rd of October at Tokyo motor show.
Redesigned with a prime focus of a passenger at heart, the next generation jazz will raise the bar in terms of comfort and driver. The teaser image however reveals an interesting profile of the hatchback, bits such as the large glasshouse, stubby bonnet and sporty bumpers. Other interesting minor design highlights such as angular headlights upfront, sporty bumper, shark fin antenna and rear combination taillamps are also visible partially.
The interior however is still under wraps, with the teaser image hiding its layout with a throw of light used, however expect an upmarket dashboard in-line with Honda’s latest cabin layout and loads of space with the focus as said earlier being to offer more to the driver and passenger in the car.
Mechanically the next generation Honda Jazz is said to come powered by a two motor hybrid powertrain that is expected to provide an exceptional blend of strong and effortless dirving performance. It will also deliver impressive fuel effiencey.
Honda is also expected to hold a media preview on the same day as the new Jazz unveil where the automaker will disclose plans of their electrification plan for Europe. While there could be an electric version of the Jazz coming our way in the future too.
