Hyundai updates Grand i10 and Xcent with new features

Hyundai has launched upgraded versions of the Grand i10 hatchback and Xcent sub four metre sedan. Both cars receive additional features but remain mechanically unchanged.

The new 2019 Grand i10 receives new features on the Magna and Sportz variants. In addition to the variants already available the Magna now comes with roof rails, body side moulding and iblue app, similarly the Sportz variant gets Led daytime running lamps, iblue app and roof rails.

The Xcent on the other hand has got an industry first wireless charging feature along with LED daytime running lights, iblue app and rear spoiler all available on the top end SX and SX (0) trim only.

Powering the Grand i10 and Xcent are the same 1.2 litre U2 CRDI diesel and 1.2 litre Kappa petrol motor. The diesel makes about 75 PS at 4000rpm and 19.4 kgm of torque at 1,750-2250rpm. The petrol on the other hand puts out 83 PS @ 6000rpm and max torque of 11.6 kgm and 4000rpm. Both engines come mated to 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission as standard.
