Hyundai has updated the Santro line-up for 2019. The new variant line-up has seen a major revision for a more feature laden approach towards the younger generation.

The base D-Lite trim has now been discontinued to make way for the Era Executive variant. This new variant comes with features such as front power windows, air conditioning and body coloured bumpers.

On the other hand the Magna variant sees the addition of a bluetooth compatible audio system and steering mounted audio controls. Also part of the variant revision is the Sport AMT which receives a rear view camera, passenger airbag and front seatbelt pre-tensioners.

Powering the car however the same 1.1 litre motor is producing 69hp and 99 Nm of torque, while the CNG powered car puts out 59 PS and 8.6 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual for both the petrol and AMT, while the CNG powered Santro comes only in a 5-speed manual. Hyundai claims 20.13 kmpl for the petrol Santro and 30.5kgm for the CNG powered version.

The Santro goes up against the likes of the recently updated Datsun GO and the Maruti Suzuki Alto. The new pricing has not been announced but should be out soon.
