Isuzu launches V-Cross facelift at Rs 14.74 lakhs

Isuzu motors India has launched the new V-Cross facelift priced at Rs 14.74 lakhs (ex showroom). The new V-Cross gets minor cosmetic changes and is available in two trims – Standard Grade and High grade Z.

Speaking about the design the new V-Cross lifestyle pickup gets a design inspired by Cyborg Orca. It now receives new front end with a thick chrome wrapped front grille, redesigned Bi-LED headlamps and muscular looking bumper. The new bumper houses new fog lamps with a chrome bezel along with a wider bumper. The side profile ads newly designed side steps for added functionality and an all black B-pillar, while at the rear there’s a chrome bumper along with embedded LED daytime running lights as well. The 2019 V-Cross rides on 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

The interior is now offered in full black trim and the well appointed dashboard, centre console and door highlights have an enriched appeal with a piano black garnish. Isuzu has also added a new USB charging port in the second row allowing the occupants to charge their devices. Also on offer are perforated leather seats that can be had in the top end Z variant only. A 3-D instrument cluster and Passive Entry along with Start/Stop system allowing for easy convience of getting in and out of the vehicle are also part of the package.

Powering the lifestyle pickup is a 2.5 litre diesel that produces 134 bhp and 320 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission with 4WD that can be shifted on the move. Isuzu has also kept its attention to safety and offered the V-Cross with first in segment features such as speed sensitive auto door lock, hill start assist, seat-belt with pre-tensioner and load limiter and hill descent control.

Isuzu is also offering the V-Cross in two new colours Sapphire Blue and Silky Pearl White. Buyers can also choose from Ruby Red, Titanium Silver, Obsidian Grey, Cosmic black and Splash white. The automaker has also begun accepting bookings at its dealerships across the country.
