Jeep has launched a new limited edition of the Compass formally known as the Compass Night Eagle. The new limited edition has been introduced to commemorate 3 successful years of the Compass in the Indian market.
Based on the Longitude Plus variant, the Compass Night Eagle edition adds black treatment to the roof, front grille, lower air dam and side window line. There’s also Night Eagle and Jeep Compass badges are also finished in black along with new 18-inch alloy wheels.
The most noticeable update to the interior is the all black treatment to the cabin a welcoming difference from the black and beige on the standard car along with all black upholstery with part cloth and part leather treatment to round things off.
On the features front, the kit is the same with a powered wing mirrors, dual zone climate control, a 7.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system and push button start/stop.
Mechanically the Night Eagle version of the Compass comes powered`1.4 litre turbo petrol with 160PS and 250Nm of torque and a 2.0 litre diesel churning out 160PS and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 7-speed dual clutch auto as standard in the petrol, while in the diesel you get a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic.
Production of the limited edition Compass Night Eagle however is limited to 250 units only, while 4 paint schemes are on offer – Brilliant black, Vocal white, Manganese grey and Exotica red.
