KTM has launched a new entry level offering the Duke 125 ABS priced at Rs 1.18 Lakhs (ex showroom).
Built on a lightweight steel chassis frame, the Duke 125 has the same attitude as its larger siblings. It gets a uniquely styled LED headlight, a TFT display for the instrument cluster and redesigned graphics.
Powering the new entry level Duke is a single cylinder 4-stroke engine that comes equipeied with fuel injection and puts out 14.5bhp and 12 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. Suspension duties are handled by upside down forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. Braking on the other hand is managed by ABS along with 300mm single disc at the front and 230mm at the rear.
The KTM Duke 125 rides on 17 inch wheels wrapped in 110/70 section tyres at the front and 150/60 at the rear. The motorcycle can be had in Orange, white and black however the wheels come in Orange paint only. KTM’s Duke 125 rivals the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
