Fans, loyalists and enthusiasts of the KTM motorcycle brand can rejoice in glory as the automaker has finally unveiled the highly anticipated and much awaited Duke 390 Adventure. The new Duke 390 Adventure has now been showcased at the just concluded India Bike Week after being unveiled at the EICMA motor show.
Fresh from the meat, the Duke 390 Adventure is designed with the same successive formula of the Duke motorcycles in the market but with a heart of an adventure. The Duke 390 Adventure now employs off-road specific styling with a windshield upfront and knuckle guards on both sides. It also gets a well designed under body protection plate along with LED headlight and taillight along and a TFT colour display for the instrument panel.
The Duke 390 Adventure showcased at the IBW 2019 was wearing Metzeler Tourane tyres wrapped in 19–inch alloy wheels at front and 17-inchers at the back. Further it also gets a healthy ground clearance of 200mm with a seat height of 885mm.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 373.2cc engine that produces 44hp and 37Nm of torque but now comes with a six speed transmission and is BS6 compliant as well. The suspension unit is made up of 43mm upside down non adjustable fork and a monoshock at the rear, while braking is handled by switchable ABS as standard paired to 320mm calliper at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.
The marker launch for India however will happen only early next year which is when the prices will be announced as well.
