Jaguar Land Rover India has launched the updated 2019 Discovery Sport. The latest iteration of the adventurous and versatile SUV has been furnished with exciting new features and improved power output.

(JLRIL), said: “With the Model Year 2019 Discovery Sport, we now offer our customers an extensive range of derivatives and enhanced powertrain options that provide efficiency and an improved driving experience. It adds on the unique combination of versatility and distinctive design that has made the Discovery Sport one of the leading models in the Land Rover portfolio.”
Powering the 2019 Discovery is a brand new 2.0 litre Ingenium diesel motor now produces 132 KW of power and can be bought on the SE and HSE trims, while the base pure variant continues with 110 KW unchanged
Land Rover has also introduced a new Dynamic pack on the HSE trim of the Discovery Sport. Exclusive to it is a body kit that receives significant exterior advancements like a body styling kit. The kit includes Unique black grille upfront, a chrome tailpipe finisher and black license plate. Also unique to the SUV dressed in the dynamic pack is a Red Sport badge that helps it stand out from the crowd.
Additionally the Discovery also comes with a new upgraded Touch Pro infotainment system that was otherwise offered on the Velar and other more expensive models.
Speaking of the competition, the Discovery Sport rivals the BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Audi Q5 and going by the recent update, expect the competition to sit up and take notice.
