Mahindra Electric has announced a collaboration with Zoomcar to offer the E2O Plus in Pune for self-drive and subscription. As part of the collaboration, Mahindra Electric has provided Zoomcar with 50 E2O Plus cars as a shared mobility solution. The company flagged off the vehicles in the presence of Dr. Rajendra Jagtap, CEO – Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd (PSCDCL).
Zoomcar will run these electric vehicles through the self drive and ZAP Subscribe program. ZAP Subscribe is a revolutionary way to own a personal car, without the hassles of down-payment, service & insurance by making a monthly payment of 9999/- per month
The announcement aims at promoting connected, shared and electric mobility as a model in Pune, in line with the recommendations in the NITI Aayog report on the government’s 2030 vision. Pune is an upcoming IT centre and is an important hub in the state of Maharashtra, and hence makes for an excellent choice for this service.

This initiative comes as one of the first steps after the announcement of Maharashtra’s EV policy and we are positive that it will contribute to the state’s mission of rapid adoption of EVs”

Mahindra Finance will continue to be financing partners in various other cities for Zoomcar & Mahindra Electric for EV financing. Under the initiative of the larger financing agreement between Zoomcar and Lease-Plan, Mahindra finance will provide Zoomcar with customised EV finance packages.
