Mahindra has been busy testing and working on several model upgrades to make them fresh in the market and upto date with the stringent norms. The first launch among them is the Bolero that has received a facelift apart from a BS6 engine.
New on the 2020 Bolero are minor cosmetic changes and an updated interior. On the outside it gets an updated face with a new front grille, redesigned headlights and new X-design bumper with new fog lights as well. Also new are new side graphics and clear lens taillights.
Buyers can choose from three variants B2, B4. B6 and B6 optional, while three exterior colours – Diamond white, Lakeside brown and Mist silver.
The interior however has not received any major changes on the inside and carries forward the same interior as the earlier version. However it does get new seat upholstery, digital instrument cluster and audio system with bluetooth, USB and AUX-in support.
There’s also new seatbelt reminder for the driver and co-passenger, reverse parking sensors ABS, Airbags and anti-glare IRVW. Mahindra has also introduced manual override feature for the central locking that allows opening the door from inside
Powering the 2020 Bolero is a MHawk 1.5 litre diesel motor that puts out 75hp and 210 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual as standard, while an automatic and four wheel drive was never offered.
Having introduced the Bolero facelift with a BS6 engine, Mahindra will now further strengthen its focus on the next gen Thar, Scorpio and XUV5OO that will be launched over the course of this year or next year latest.
