Mahindra has announced a price hike ranging between Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 40,000, for the Marazzo MPV. The price hike will be effective 1st January 2019 says a press release issued by the company.
According to Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, “As mentioned at the launch, the price of Marazzo was an introductory one. Effective January 1st 2019, we will be taking a price hike on the Marazzo, after a reasonable period of 4 months from its launch.”
Engineered for excellence, the Marazzo has evoked a lot of interest among buyers with its bold and aerodynamic design, smooth ride, agile handling, luxurious interior space for upto 8 people and the quietest cabin. Mahindra also engineered an industry first surround cool technology Aircon system for the Marazzo MPV.
Co-designed by the Mahindra Design Studio and the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina, the Marazzo has been engineered in collaboration with Mahindra’s North American Technical centre and Mahindra’s research valley in Chennai.
Powering the Marazzo is a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine that puts out 120bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only, with an automatic will be engineered at a later stage.
The Shark inspired MPV also comes with in 6 Shark inspired colours namely Iceberg white, Oceanic black, Aqua marine, Poseidon purple, Mariner maroon and Shimmering silver. The Mahindra Marazzo rivals the Renault Lodgy, Honda BR-V and the up-coming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga which is just about to enter the second generation.
