Historic heat waves spread in the automobile industry as Global NCAP announced results of the Mahindra XUV 3OO crash test. The news further labelled the XUV 3OO as being one of the best performers among all 5-star rated cars in the Indian automobile industry.
The XUV 3OO has scored a full five star rating for adult occupant protection with 16.42 points on the tally and four stars with 37.44 out of expected 49 points for child occupant protection. It has also been come to know that the XUV 3OO is the brands first 5-star rated car in Mahindra’s model range.

The Mahindra XUV 3OO comes with ABS with EBD, dual airbags, front seatbelt reminders with pretensioners and front parking sensors as standard. It is also fair to note that the fully loaded W8 trim gets second row seatbelt reminders and 7 airbags among other safety features as well.
Mechanically the XUV 3OO gets its power from a 1.5 litre diesel motor churning out 115 bhp and 300 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed manual, while an AMT transmission is available as an option on the diesel powered variant only.
