As the festive season approaches, every automobile manufacturer has been rolling up their sleeves and launching limited/special edition variants of its existing cars. The latest model to roll off the limited edition line comes from Maruti Suzuki with the Ignis limited edition. Maruti Suzuki hasn’t revealed the pricing just yet, but the accessories package is said to cost Rs 45,000.
The Ignis limited edition is based on the mid-spec Delta variant and is available in petrol with manual and automatic transmission options. The Ignis limited edition sports a rugged body kit that includes a roof spoiler, side body cladding with Ignis branding on it and side skirts with silver moulding. Additionally it also comes with front and rear faux skid plates.
On the inside, the Ignis limited edition comes with premium seat covers and floor mats with exquisite leather upholstery that add a touch of luxury and elegance. Features available on the Ignis limited edition include rear view mirrors with turn indicators integrated into them, wheel caps, Audio system with 2 speakers, steering mounted audio controls, remote keyless entry, security alarm system, tachometer and multi information display.
Under the hood, the Ignis limited edition is unchanged and continues to be powered by the same K12 1.2 litre petrol engine that produces 83hp and 113 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox options.
