Mercedes Benz has launched a V-class known as V-class Elite; the new top end trim is priced at Rs 1.10 Crores (ex showroom prices). The 2020 V-class Elite can be had only in long wheelbase six seater configuration only.
The new top end V-class Elite is based on the facelifted model which means it comes with updated styling. The design tweaks include new revised LED headlamps, new triple slat chrome grille, sportier bumpers and a wider air dam with mesh design. It also gets new 17-inch alloy wheels as standard, while 18-inchers are standard.
The 2020 V-class Elite on the inside gets a refrigerated compartment in the centre console, ambient lighting, luxury leather seats with massage and climate control functions, leather upholstery (silk beige/ black) and 360 degree reverse parking camera with Active Park assist. It also gets electric sliding doors, new high end Burmester surround sound system, an easy pack tailgate with separate rear glass opening and an optional panoramic sunroof.
Powering the new top end V-class Elite is a 2.0 litre engine that produces 161bhp and 380Nm of torque. The engine however mated 9G-tronic transmission as standard. On the safety side the luxury MPV is packed with 6-airbags, Pre safe package and attention assists. Mercedes has also packed the V-class Elite with Agility control suspension with selective damping system.
Buyers can choose between 7 exciting paint schemes – Steel blue, Graphite black, Selenite grey, Rock crystal white, brilliant silver metallic, Obsidian blue metallic and Cavensite blue metallic. The luxury automaker is also offering the V220D with star ease mantainence packages priced at Rs 109300 for 2 years/30,000kms whichever is earlier.
