Mitsubishi has launched the new generation Outlander in the Indian market priced at Rs 31.95 Lakhs (ex showroom Mumbai). The new SUV will be available only in fully loaded top of the line variant and will be brought through the completely built unit (CBU) route.
The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander packs in a sharper design language with a large chrome grille upfront along with LED and daytime running lamps. The new Outlander wrapped in 215/70 section tyres and rides on 16-inch Ornament design alloy wheels.
The interiors sport a new black and beige colour scheme and get seven seats. Speaking of the features, the 2018 Outlander gets a 6.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system with the best of entertainment and music being played through a 70 watt Rockford Fostage audio system. It also receives dual zone climate control, electric sunroof, electric parking brake with auto hold function, rain sensing wipers and leather upholstered seats.
Under the hood is a 2.4 litre MIVEC petrol motor that puts out 165 bhp and 222 Nm of torque. The motor comes coupled to a 6-speed CVT with paddle shifters and can sprint from 0-100kmph in 11.1 seconds. Further boosting the off-roading capability is a Multi select 4WD system.
Should safety be your concern and the latest iteration of the Outlander comes loaded with seven airbags, ASC, hill start assist, ABS and EBD.
Mitsubishi is offering the Outlander with 7 exterior colours such as Black pearl, Cosmic Blue, and Orient Red, Titanium grey and solid white. The 2018 Outlander rivals the Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner and Honda CR-V.
