The new 2019 Renault Duster facelift was also launched at the Margao showroom as well
Priority Automobiles the dealer partners for Renault in Goa have officially launched the new Duster facelift in Goa. The 2019 Duster employs a bolder look on the outside and new features.
The new 2019 Duster looks more contemporary than before with a bold new design language. The face now gets a new bonnet hood, new tri-winged chrome grille flanked by new projector headlamps with daytime running lights. It also receives a new front bumper with redesigned fog lamp housing with chrome strip and a skid plate.
The side profile is however the same as the pre-facelift Duster accept for the addition of new 16-inch Everest diamond cut alloy wheels that come wrapped in 215/65 section rubber at front and rear. At the back it gets a flatter design for the tailgate, new LED taillamps and a skid plate. The matte black tailgate embellisher and trunk cladding is an optional extra.
The interiors on the other hand continue to offer the same level of comfort as before, however it now gets new a Midnight back interior colour scheme with premium black finish for the centre console and premium blue glazed seats. It also gets a new steering wheel, ice blue graphic for the instrument cluster and Duster badging on the dashboard and a body coloured panel as well.
In terms of features, the 2019 Duster gets soft touch steering mounted audio and cruise control, illuminated and cooled upper glovebox, one touch turn indicators, , height adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, 4-speaker Arkmays sound system with 2 tweeters and 17.64cm touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice guide and Eco guide.
Mechanically the new Duster is powered by brand new 1.5 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel motor. The petrol produces 106PS and 142Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5–speed CVT and manual transmission. The diesel on the flipside continues to be offered in two states of tune 85 PS or 110 PS and comes mated to a 6-speed manual and AMT for the 110PS variant, while the lesser powered 85 PS gets only a 5-speed manual.
Renault has also paid full attention to the safety spaced the Duster with ABS with EBD, dual airbags, hill start assist, reverse parking camera and Electronic stability program. Confirming to the newly introduced safety norms is a Speed limiter, reverse parking sensors and driver and passenger seatbelt warning system.
Buyers can choose between 2 new colours to the colours in the colour line-up -Casplan blue and Mahogany brown along with existing Cayenne orange, Slate grey, outback bronze, Moonlight silver and Pearl white.
