Buyers who when launched saw the Triber for the first time, appreciated the car for its good looks, spacious interiors, ability to seat seven passengers on the go and re-calliberated engine. However an AMT version was what many many had been asking for.
Renault has now finally launched the Triber AMT in the Indian market, said to be available in three variants – RXL, RXT and RXZ, prices for the car start at Rs 6.18 lakhs ( ex showroom India). Bookings for the Triber AMT have commenced and interested customers can book theirs through the several options available.
Customers can either do the booking by visiting a dealership or online at https://renault.co.in/ or through the My Renault app. The French automaker has also announced that test drive models have begun arriving at dealerships and test drives should also begin soon.
Powering the compact people mover is the same 1.0 litre petrol motor that produces 72hp and 96Nm of torque. Transmission options include the 5-speed manual and newly added AMT. Mileage figures in BS6 state of tune are rated at kmpl.
Talking about features, it comes with the same features as the manual version such as LED daytime running lights, high ground clearance, SUV skid plates, 8-inch touchscreen infortainment system, LED instrument cluster Easy fix seats and twin AC with vents in second and third row.
