Renault is gearing up to soon launch a major facelift for the Duster SUV. The model was earlier spied near Zojila Pass in Jammu Kashmir wearing a bright new blue shade.
The 2019 Duster facelift carries on the go anywhere rugged stiloute that made the Duster popular and known for with major cosmetic changes. The nose now wears a redesigned bonnet, a new chrome grille flanked by redesigned projector headlamps with daytime running lights. The bumper has been upgraded with a more muscular design; it now gets a tougher looking larger air dam, skid plates and new fog lamp housings.
The side profile remains largely unchanged but it now rides on newly developed multi-spoke alloy wheels. The rear on the other hand the rear gets new taillamps with black elements and skid plates thus completing the rugged look.
The interior are still under wraps but we can safely assume the presence of new interior colours and seat fabric, while an upgrade to the touchscreen infortainment system could also make it to the Duster facelift.
Under its hood, the 2019 Duster facelift should continue with the same 1.5 petrol motor mated to manual and automatic transmissions. However considering the French car maker has no plans to launch a BS6 diesel engine, the Duster could miss out on the same altogether.
The Renault Duster rivals the Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and even the recently launched Tata Harrier. Expect the Duster facelift to launch soon with a revised price list as well.
