Paying respect to the troops taking care of the borders of our country, Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 Signals Edition in India priced at Rs 1.61 Lakhs (Ex showroom Pune). Bookings for the bike have begun and the bike will be retailed through the Royal Enfield dealerships across the country.
The Classic 350 Signals Edition features a touch of exclusiveness with a unique serial number on the fuel tank and two matte colour options namely Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand. The motorcycle also get brown seat, large front windscreen, saddle bags for storing luggage and special Royal Enfield badge finished off in gold and green. Further boosting the air force and army appeal, the bike gets blackened out portions for the headlight, engine, rims, muffler, exhaust and handlebar.
Powering the motorcycle is the same single cylinder air cooled motor that 348cc motor that produces 19.8 bhp @ 5250rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The Signals edition however features a disc brake at the rear a feature not seen on the standard bike.
Suspension duties are handled by 35mm telescopic forks at front and twin shock absorbing gas charged unit at the rear. Braking is carried out with single disc at front and rear drum brakes. The Classic 350 Signals Edition is also the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to sport ABS as standard.
