Suzuki has launched new updated versions of the SF150 and SF250. The 2019 iteration brings in minor cosmetic changes to help freshen things up.
The new Gixxer 250 gets a new short front glass, a full LED headlamp and split seats. The smaller capacity Gixxer SF 150 also gets the same full LED headlamps and split seats. Both bikes however get newly designed chrome exhausts and clip on handlebars.
The Gixxer SF 250 uses a 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110/70 R section tyres at the front and 150/60R section tyres at the rear, while the SF150 uses 100/80 R section tyres at the front and 140/60R section tyres at the rear wrapped in 17-inch alloys.
Powering the motorcycle is a 249cc single cylinder engine that produces 26hp and 22.6 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. On the other hand the Gixxer 150 gets its power from a 154.9cc engine that puts out 14.8hp and 14 Nm of torque and uses a 6-speed transmission.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 and SF 250 take on the Honda CBR250R ABS and Hero Xtreme 200 S.
