Tata Motors has added a new top end XZ+ variant to the Tiago line-up. The new variant goes premium with new features packed in a new young and fun element priced at Rs 5.57 Lakhs (ex showroom).
Design wise, the Tiago XZ+ carries on with the smart design but gets cosmetic changes such as a dual tone paint job with glossy black roof, body side moulding 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels and two new paint schemes – Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue. Interestingly the new 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels are available with the petrol engine only.
On the inside, the Tiago XZ+ gets an all new 7-inch infotainment system and dual tone climate control system. The rest of the cabin remains unchanged and continues to offer high quality premium materials.
In terms of new features, the much loved hatchback in the new XZ+ trim gets a new Harman touchscreen infotainment system that comes loaded with Android auto connectivity, voice commands recognition, Incoming and SMS notifications along with read outs. Additionally the new trim on the Tiago also receives projector headlamps with smoked black bezel, electric folding wing mirrors with welcome function
Powering the car is the same 85 PS 1.2 litre petrol and 70 PS 1.0 litre diesel engines mated to 5-speed manual transmission. However we haven’t received any confirmation if the AMT gearbox is on offer on the XZ+ trim as yet. The Tata Tiago XZ+ rivals the Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Celerio in terms of competition.
