Homegrown car maker Tata Motors is getting set to give its slow selling sub-four metre sedan the Tigor another shot in the arm. The automobile manufacturer has released a few teasers online revealing a few design highlights of the car.
According to the teasers, the 2018 Tigor will come with all new headlights with thick chrome elements in them and clear lens LED taillamps at the rear. Additionally the new Tigor will also receive a new Blue paint scheme.
On the inside, the new Tigor will be sold with a 7.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system which should most probably come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Engine options are likely to remain the same with the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.0 litre diesel continuing unchanged. Transmission options for the petrol motor include 5-speed manual and AMT, while the diesel comes only with a manual transmission.
The updated Tata Tigor sub four metre sedan is expected to kick up quite a fight once launched as the segment has gotten quite crowded with the likes of the Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze and just launched Ford Aspire facelift to battle with.
