Italian bike manufacturer, Vespa has launched the most affordable and sporty looking Vespa Notte 125 in Goa. The new scooter has arrived in Goa almost a month after its market launch in August and is priced at Rs 69,468(Ex showroom) and Rs 88,577 (On Road Goa).
The Vespa Notte 125 sports minor cosmetic changes that are done in the form of a dark black paint job along with blackened mirrors and grab rails. The scooter also rides on 11-inch alloy wheels which too are finished off in black. Further accentuating the sporty credentials of the scooter is the Notte badge that is placed on the inner fender of the bike.
Mechanically the Vespa Notte lies unchanged and counties to draw power from the same single cylinder, air cooled 125cc motor. The engine produces 10bhp and 10.6 Nm of torque and comes paired to a CVT automatic transmission.
Interestingly the Vespa Notte edition misses out on disc brakes and tubeless tyres that are available on other regular Vespa models. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks upfront and single shock unit at the rear.
The Vespa Notte rivals the Honda Grazia, TVS NTORQ, Suzuki Access and Burgaman and the Aprilla SR125.
