Volkswagen India has introduced new Polo and Vento Red and White edition in the Indian market. The Polo Red and white edition is priced at Rs 9.20 lakhs (ex showroom prices), while the Vento Red and White edition is priced at Rs 11.49 lakhs (ex showroom prices).
New in the Polo Red and White edition gets a blacked out roof spoiler and wing mirrors. The Flash red paint scheme gets the above two finished in white. Buyers can get the special edition in three paint schemes – Candy white, Sunset red and Flash red. Also on offer on the Red and White edition are badges on side fenders and decals on the doors.
The Polo Red and White edition is offered on the top spec Highline+ trim and that means it comes fully loaded to the gills with kit such as LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and 16-inch alloy wheels.
New in the Vento Red and White edition mirrors the Polo Red and White edition in terms of differences. However it misses out on the flash red paint scheme offered on the Polo and so it only gets blacked out roof and wing mirrors with Sunset red and Candy white paint scheme.
Talking about equipment the Vento Red and White edition being based on the highline AT variant, it comes with halogen headlights, 15 inch alloy wheels, 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, automatic climate control and fog lamps. It however doesn’t get LED headlights, front side airbags, reverse parking camera display in touchscreen and dual tone leatherette upholstery.
Mechanically both cars get the same engine options as before, which include the recently introduced 1.0 litre three cylinder engine with 110hp and 175Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic only.
