Yamaha has finally launched the R15 Moto GP edition Version 3.0 priced at Rs 1.30 Lakhs (Ex showroom). Bookings for the new special edition motorcycle have commenced online which is the only platform for booking the bike.
The Moto GP Edition R15 Version 3.0 sports an exclusive blue paint job known as Yamaha Racing Blue which is also the only colour the bike can had in.
The motorcycle gets exclusive ENEOS logo along the side panels along with a movie star logo above the headlamp and fuel tank. Further accentuating the sportiness of the bike are the M1 inspired graphics and a gold finish Yamaha logo.
Mechanically though, the motorcycle stays unchanged and continues to be powered by the same four cylinder 155cc fuel injected motor putting out 19.3hp and 15Nm of torque. The engine also stays coupled to a 6-speed transmission with the addition of a slipper clutch.
Yamaha has also updated the FZ F1 for 2018 with new colour schemes Matt Green and Dark night and added a rear disc brake to the bike. However there are no other mechanical changes and the motorcycle uses the same 149cc engine. Yamaha has priced the bike Rs 87,042 (Ex showroom).
