Yamaha has been on the struggling side of late in Goa with lack of good dealership support and slow down in sales being one of the reasons. However all that is set to change with Zee Motors taking over dealership operations at Panjim.
The new showroom was innurgauted by Pramod Sawant, Honourable Chief Minister of Goa along with Jennifer Monserate Honourable Minister for IT, Labour and Employment along with other dignitaries.
Located at the same premises where the earlier Yamaha showroom under support of Parker automobiles once existed, the new showroom will cater to the needs of sales and service under one roof. However it is a welcome addition to the Yamaha brand especially considering Goa needed one desperately.
Yamaha’s scooter line-up in the Indian market includes the Ray ZR street rally, Fascino, Alpha, Ray Z and Ray ZR. The motorcycle range includes the MT-15, YZF R15 V3.0, YZF R3, Fazer 25, FZS FI, FZ FI, SZ RR V2.0, Saluto and Saluto RX. The bike manufacturer also has the YZF R1 and MT-09 in the superbike category.
While Zee Motors has added a fresh new start for Yamaha in Panjim or North Goa, the southern side of Goa still lacks a good dealership, We do hope Zee Motors could add atleast a service centre if not a dealership in South Goa in the not so distant future.
